FIELD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
To those of you who did not attend 2011 Auction, VUSA kicked off their $2M Capital Campaign to raise money for 3 Lit Turf Fields to be constructed at Harmony Sports Complex in the summer of 2012. The Club has raised about $200K thus far and has secured a $300K low interest loan from WYS. Our goal is to raise another $500K by 1/1/12, an additional $500K by 5/1 when Construction would begin, and the final $500K when the fields open on 9/1. Before we go out to the community at large, we’ll have to demonstrate that VUSA’s Members are committed to donating something to this needed cause.
The Board has set the goals and timelines above, and 100% of us have already donated to this Project. We’ve asked the Coaches to do the same, and expect their 100% participation by their next meeting on 11/7. We now ask you, our Membership, to contribute by filling out the Pledge Form by clicking here.
It will take all of us within VUSA, our business connections and matching programs, our friends and families to make these Turf fields a reality. We need your help. It takes a village, and we are that village.
Isn’t about time we pulled our children out of the mud did something about it. That time has finally come.
